Born from the mysterious 90’s comic series Vampblade, comic fan, cosplayer, and shop manager Katie Carva must now continue her quest to fight the invisible other-dimensional vampires from the comics, while the blades push her to all new extremes! It’s all new next-level Vampblade adventures, shiny and chrome!
I was admittedly a little worried that we might have to wait a while for this new season. Lucky for me and all of you fellow fans, it’s already here for our enjoyment. So let’s not delay and just get right into the first issue of Vampblade starting off her Season number two.
After a nice little “here’s what’s been happening”, we go directly into Katie aka Vampblade going berserk on a plane and dooming everyone. But not really, as it ends up being a dream, although she does trash the hotel room she’s in. Using Comic Con as a cover, Katie and her companions are looking to take down another TSD tower in SoCal.
Of course, we kick off this new season with Vampblade slicing and dicing, and of course Katie naked again. It’s artwork current fans should more than be used to be now. New readers will certainly be in for a dirty surprise, even with this being pretty tame compared to other issues.
It was so great to get back into Vampblade already with this next batch of issues. Even new arrivals will find themselves curious enough to grab the first volumes. Whether you’re fresh or returning though, make sure you’ve got this awesome title in your regular reads.
