BOOM! Studios is proud to announce THE GREAT WIZ AND THE RUCKUS, an all-new original graphic novel by cartoonist Joey McCormick (Adventure Time), with colors by Whitney Cogar (Steven Universe) and arriving in stores February 2019.

Red, a blind Wiz is tasked with finding the Wiz’s of the realm so that they can destroy the Ruckus, a darkness that is threatening to take over the world once again! On this journey, he brings together some of the strongest Wiz’s around, Bog Wiz, Sad Dad, and Feather Duster but soon they realize that their fate will fall on the shoulders of a young Wiz named Bean who is too strong, too hot-headed, and completely untested to be any real help.

Marvel Welcomes Carmen Carnero to X-MEN RED!

Rising artist Carmen Carnero joins Tom Taylor on X-Men Red, starting this July!

New York, NY—Marvel is excited to announce that this July, artist Carmen Carnero will join X-MEN RED as the series’ regular artist alongside writer Tom Taylor. Carnero’s work for Marvel includes Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Cyclops, and The Punisher (where she holds the distinction of being the first female artist to ever draw the character’s ongoing series.)

Following the sales and critical success of titles like Batman/Elmer Fudd, more of Warner Bros classic cartoon characters will get the DC Universe treatment this August as DC revealed new quartet of DC/Looney Tunes special one-shot issues, written and drawn by some of the top names in the DC talent family. Each 48-page issue hits comic book retailers on Wednesday, August 29, includes both a main and bonus story featuring the title characters and will sell for $4.99.
