Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: Belial #2

Belial is a 32 page action adventure hell comedy about the original creator of Hell. Lucifer has taken his domain from him, and after centuries of wasting away in a crummy bar he’s had enough! Now, with his impish cohort Linc and bar manager/former general Mammon, he seeks to take his powers back from the Four Horsemen and usurp Lucifer to once more be the ruler of all Hell!

Co-created by Shaun Barbour and Chuck Pineau this is more than just a comedic take on Hell. This is a chance for both creators to bring their sense of fun to comics, to temporarily ignore the shitstorm that is our world right now, and just laugh and enjoy.

If you read my review the other day, you’ll know that I very much enjoyed Issue #1 and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on Issue #2...

Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: The Muffenman #1

Do you know the Muffenman? You might think you do, but you probably don’t. But you want to, trust me. I’ve been ridiculously excited for this comic since I first encountered him as a preview in another Limitless Comics book. This spotlight will be short and sweet, so that you can spend more time hitting up the campaign page!

Train-of-thought went a bit off the rails there.)

Anyyyyyyyhow, The main protagonist is a creature who has lived in the sewers underneath Boston’s historic North End for decades...

Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: Ducks in Tow

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of attending SHUX, put on by the fine folks over at Shut Up & Sit Down. Through good luck and good timing, one of the games I was able to play was a delightful prototype for a game about ducks with Stephanie Kwok of First Fish Games. Now, a few short months later here we are talking about the Ducks in Tow Kickstarter campaign.

Let me put this in no uncertain terms: Ducks in Tow was the most enjoyable game I played at SHUX. Period.

The premise is simple, serene even, the players are walking around a park feeding ducks appropriate duckie food, and taking pictures with some and adopting others...

Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: These Damn Kids

In a small town in Vicksburg, Mississippi the children have been acting strange. There have been reports of parents being attacked by the very children they raised. Some have even gone to school to try and kill the teachers and faculty. The town sheriff has brought in a young rookie cop, Gary Marshall, to help with what’s going on and hopefully get to the bottom of why it’s happening.
