Obviously sentient, but forlornly uncommunicative, it soon becomes obvious that this hi-tech-yet-retro homunculus’ original function has been lost to the mists of time.

A Christmas Carol

Charles Dickens’s holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, is given a fresh twist—with a female Scrooge! Rod Espinosa (The Courageous Princess) adapts and illustrates this story of the miserly Eliza Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of the past, present, and future on one fateful Christmas eve.

The Good
Out of all the Xmas classics, A Christmas Carol has always been my favorite, and The Night That Changed the Life of Eliza Scrooge is a great variation.  The story is very well paced and does a wonderful job of including all the key points you’d expect to see.  I really felt that everything which needed to be included to make this a good adaptation was there.

The Bad
All in all I really could not find anything that I wasn’t pleased with in this book.
