Soupy Leaves Home TPB

Pearl Plankette ran away from her home to escape an abusive father and an unhappy future. Disguised and reborn as a boy named Soupy, she hitches her star to an unlikely hobo, and they begin their journey from the cold heartbreak of their eastern homes toward the sunny promise of California in this train-hopping, Depression-era coming-of-age tale.

Out of the terrible era of the Great Depression we still get the good tales of the ever moving hobo. Catching trains, avoiding police, making their way however they could, they had quite the interesting lives. In Soupy Leaves Home, we follow the life of a very different but just as interesting hobo.

Although she may have come from a family of wealth, young Pearl did not have a happy life...

Cryptocracy TPB

For time beyond memory, the Nine Families watched from the shadows, believing themselves shepherds and manipulating whole societies as they saw fit. Nothing happened that they didn’t observe or control. Outsiders knew naught of the Families, much less threatened them. Until now.

I have never been one to get into politics, but with current times it’s hard not to. You really have to wonder if there are higher powers pulling strings, and if so, what are they thinking right now? World of Tanks TPB

An untested British crew inadvertently commands an unconventional Cromwell tank into France while hunted by a hardened German Panzer unit.

As far as war history goes, there’s always been a fascination more often with World War II. There are so many components that were involved, one of which in particular were tank crews. In this adaptation, we follow along with a British tank crew that finds itself in a cat and mouse game with its German counterpart. What makes them different though is that one of the tanks somehow ends up being a training tank. The lighter armor makes it riskier but also makes it the fastest tank on the ground...

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Newspaper Comic Strips

For over four years, Masters of the Universe had its own newspaper comic strip! This story continued the tales from the Filmation cartoon and bridged the saga to the space-themed New Adventures of He-Man cartoon relaunch. The comic strip only ran in selected newspapers and was never reprinted, so most fans have never read it . . . until now! For the first time ever, Dark Horse brings you a collection of these strips, restored and ready for you to unleash the power!

As a child of the 80s, He-Man was definitely among the list of cartoons and toys I grew up with. To now learn all these years later that there was a limited run comic strip is mind blowing. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Newspaper Comic Strips is a wonderful way to see what so many of us missed.

There are no two ...
