It’s a classic Archie comic and as you would expect it is far from a travelogue. Regardless, it’s fun to see that the new Reggie art isn’t confusing him with Jughead like the old, old days.

Page to page continuity is just painful.

It fits the flavor of the classic series anthologies...

Elvira, the character, is synonymous with Cassandra Peterson, the actress who created the persona as the host of Elvira’s Movie Macabre. In an era of recasts and reboots, there will never be another Elvira. She was the star, not Cassandra Peterson.

At the same time, Elvira has a long history in comics. But I’ve never had the chance to really read them until now. I opened this one-shot not being sure what to expect. I won’t lie when I say it took a bit to wrap my head around things...

This 3rd Volume in the Archie Meets Batman saga continues to stay true to form. This includes Jughead’s need for hamburgers, which has always made me love this character. This is an obvious stepping stone in the series as we see the villains scrambling to set down their trap for the Riverdale teens...
