Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: Catdad and Supermom

Where to start? I guess by saying please don’t let the pure mess that is this campaign page distract you from the potential of how good this book could be. With art that is very Fairy Oddparents and an interesting villain, this book has some serious potential. I also happen to know that the editor on this book is much better than even the sample pages suggest. I really do believe that we need to start getting more comics into the hands of younger readers and this, along with Supercats and Awakenings – A Teddy Bear Tale are all really good places to start. Head on over to Kickstarter and pledge today!

Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: Supercats

Mewow is a hero protecting her fellow animal friends. Ohno is a very small, damaged, and tailless cat who wants nothing more than to be just like her. One day, Mewow is captured by the evil dog-villian Gruffigus. Now is the chance for Ohno to prove he can be a Supercat too.

Y’all know that I (Kat) have a weakness for kids’ books since I both write them and edit them (Teddy Bear Tales). This one has cats..so I mean…c’mon…You just had to know you’d see it here. Go and check out Caleb’s story as to why he’s started writing for kids. It’s a good reason. Then, if you feel called, pledge..Really, you should pledge.
