Zenescope Announces Grimm Fairy Tales Screening

Zenescope Entertainment and Titmouse Studios are proud to announce the Grimm Fairy Tales the Animated Series screening party event during New York Comic Con weekend in October.

The pilot episode of Zenescope’s and Titmouse’s Grimm Fairy Tales series, which was fully funded through the crowd-funding website Kickstarter,
will make its much-anticipated debut at an exclusive event on October 13th in Manhattan. The party will include the main event screening of the pilot and will be preceded by a fairy tale-themed burlesque show performed by the renowned Ink & Paint Burlesque.

The Good:
The premise is good. Finding a way to make history more visual is a great thing. My daughter sat next to me for more than half the book and did ask questions as to what was going on, so points there.

The Marathon story. It is one of my favorite periods in history and it was unexpected to see
this story during the introduction issue. I figured it would be some huge famous battle, not one that is common but so few actually know.

Happy Birthday Geek-o-Rama!

In just 35 minutes (from the time I start writing this), it will be not only my birthday but the official birthday of this site. It’s hard for me to believe that on this very date last year, I went to my very first comicon. It was there that I fell in love with comics all over again. Resident Evil: Retribution

Of all the RESIDENT EVIL movies this one is by far the most inventive and genius (and I guess that confused some critics). Milla is just a great as usual and seeing Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) in an extended role again pretty much makes this a must see. If you watched them all recently there are few let downs including the casting of the red queen and unfortunately, Bingbing Li as Ada Wong who both deliver sub par performances. Having said that, attention to detail is evident if you saw AFTERLIFE, and just a tid bit on the casting – a secondary role of Becky was given to Aryana Engineer (lead in the Orphan)...
