STORY: The writing in both these stories is very good, whether your a seasoned spiderman reader or never picked up a comic book you could understand what is going on here. Clearly, these books are geared more towards younger readers though, which comes out in the writing it is a bit watered down as far as the story goes but given that it is a short story and geared towards younger audience it can be forgiven. It is fair to mention that this book is actually being released by IDW I’m guessing in conjunction with MARVEL, although I’m not privy on the logistics of this deal more synergy between publishers I think is a great thing.

ART: Both stories the art is great and fun, the world playful comes to mind which is very reflected in the story as well, so much so that I read this book with my 8-year-old daughter and she loved it.
