Kickstarter/Indiegogo Spotlight: The Deck of Many Dungeons

Deck of Many Dungeons - Geek-o-Rama - Tabletop Gaming

Hi all! Katrina here with this week’s Kickstarter spotlight. This week, I wanted to bring you something that I personally found really cool and I found it with the Deck of Many Dungeons. I was first drawn to the art because it looked suspiciously like it was done by our good friend Travis Hanson.  Upon checking out the FAQ, I discovered that I was right! That got me in the door, but what kept me was the purpose of these really cool cards:

“Well it’s a deck of 54 playing cards, 53 actual usable cards which will have map elements printed on the back of them. A Game Master can use these cards to either shuffle up a random dungeon or to lay out their own custom dungeon for their friends!

The Deck of Many has 12 unique cards and multiples of each to literally allow a person to create well over a thousand different combinations of dungeons!  The intended Deck of Many Dungeons will be plastic which will also allow people to write on their cards using whiteboard markers and wipe off any messages again.”

Talk about making a DM’s life not only easier! Forget graph paper, just whip out your fancy deck and lay down the dungeon!

This campaign has just about a week left so don’t procrastinate, get in on this while the getting is good!
