Tome of Spirits is the first full-sized supplement for Endless Realms since their initial release set of the Core Rulebook and Creature Compendium (make sure to take a look at our reviews on both of them). Slated to be 200+ pages, the book will focus around the spirits of the different Realms.
The lore surrounding this game is ridiculously deep and well written. It took me probably double the time it normally does to read an RPG because I was just savouring every word. There is a sizable section of corrupt spirits in the Creature Compendium, and spirits in general, appear in essentially every section of the Core Rulebook in some way.
Tome of Spirits will expand on basically everything spirit related, from the different Realms, to cults and religions, to expanding on how the Corruption of spirits and Adventurers works. As well there will be new Class Paths that Adventurers can follow and an entirely new Class, the Spirit Champion!
The pledge levels are appropriate for this sort of campaign, and the digital editions are a great value. For digital rewards, $20 (CAD) gets you the PDF version of Tome of Spirits, $66 gets all three Endless Realms rulebooks, plus the Chronicles of Lumis fiction anthology, and several adventures, all in digital format. If you’re like me and prefer dead trees editions, you can get the hardcover version of Tome of Spirits along with the PDF for $65. $160 gives you Tome of Spirits and all the stretch goals in both physical and digital formats (previous levels only include digital stretch goals). Jumping up a bit in price $265 gets you all three hardcovers, a GM Screen, and the softcover Big Trouble, Little Dengu! Adventure and a host of other goodies, while $300 gets all that plus your character sketched out by Endless Realms artist, Jennifer Elliot.
Physical Edition rewards should go by March 2020, with Digital rewards hitting inboxes as early as this fall. Lunar Games did have some fulfillment delays with their first campaign, but nothing major or their fault and they were very good about communicating about things. From that, they seem to have factored all those glitches in for this campaign. Beyond that the only potential issue I can see, and they noted it as well, is that there is no way to be sure that Brexit won’t throw a monkey wrench into UK/EU shipping.
