SYNOPSIS – On the Dog Days Kickstarter page (currently live on Kickstarter until Feb 1st, 2019 at 1 pm) the story is about a pair of canine detectives find themselves embroiled in a cults attempts to murder and skin citizens. Follow this pair as they unravel the secrets and mystery behind Mother and her twisted followers. Can they save the animals in time or will their skins be next?

THE STORY – So this is the Graphic Novels first 19 out of 120 pages which can be acquired for free on the Kickstarter page.  Also full disclosure I personally backed this project weeks before I knew I was going to be writing this review for Geekorama. That being said I absolutely love the writing here. Gibb’s world building is fantastic and throws you into the middle of an anthropomorphized animal mystery. I am hooked and it left me wanting more and personally can’t wait until I get that graphic novel in the mail.

THE ART – Faccini’s and Guiliani’s powers combined blew my mind, the art in this book is gorgeous. the pencils and inks by Faccini are on point and is on a professional level. Guiliani’s colors are beautiful and textured it really makes the pages pop.

I cannot wait to read this book all the way through, I don’t know if there are other volumes in this series planned but I hope it continues and thrives.
