Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor #2.12

Filled with new purpose, and information from the mouth of the WAR DOCTOR himself, Alice is closing in on the truth behind the Doctor’s possible-crime. But something horrific is stirring within the Squire, and the Doctor finds himself caught between duty and honor! Plus, Abslom Daak makes a fateful decision…!

And in this week’s episode of The Ugliest Doctor, no one has a single clue what’s going on. Including the comic’s creators.

The art is even worse than in the first issue. The dialogue makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Actions occur disjointedly. Any sense of fun or interest from the Dr. Who series is simply missing. Even Titan’s preview summary (see above) seems to have little to do with the storyline. Is anybody paying attention? Who’s in the driver’s seat?!

Reading this comic is like visiting distant relatives at a young age: you don’t know anybody, can’t quite figure out what’s going on, and can’t fathom why you’re there. People keep pinching your cheeks. The house smells of dogs and cigarettes. The food is wretched, and all they have is caffeine-free diet soda.

In short, everything sucks and you want to go home.

Stay home. The Eleventh Doctor is just a train wreck.

Final Verdict: 0 out of 5. I’m fresh out of stars for this one.
