It’s off to school we go! Cassie calls on the Hero Cats to help with a curious college caper. Professor Tabart’s growth accelerating machine has been stolen and it’s up to the Hero Cats to catch the culprit.
It has been a while since I last got to read about the adventures of our heroic feline team. Better late than never, especially being able to close out this second volume of the series. Without further delay, let’s see what’s going on next as we move onto a college campus in Hero Cats number six.
After the outer space bug infestation from the last book, Cassie’s family is staying on a college campus. A professor and friend of the family has apparently been the victim of a heist, as someone has stolen his plant supersizing machine. The Hero Cats are on the case, using all their various powers to track down the thief. We also get to see a little more of the possible kitty romance within the team – awwwww.
As far as the artwork goes, there isn’t anything drastically different here, good or bad. Cute has remained cute, and is still drawn with all the same great quality we’ve been used to. One thing I can mention specifically was the cover, done wonderfully in a far more realistic manner than the interiors.
With this arc coming to a close, I look forward to the next one with our furry friends. This issue may not have been as exciting as many of the others were, but was still a good read. Now that there’s two volumes completed, you should look into this fun title if you haven’t already done so.
