What I took away from this Kickstarter Campaign:

Fidget Factory by Antsy Labs, makers of the Fidget Cube, is a game involving wearing hats and drinking coffee. It also involves outwitting trolls and has a Cthulhu hat.

Coffee achieved, and we’re back. So I didn’t actually think we’d have a CrowdFUNding Spotlight this week. We do one most weeks, but it’s not something I like to force if things get busy or something doesn’t my eye, or the eyes of my staff. Marvel and SiriusXM to Launch “Marvel’s 80th: The Road to Marvel Comics #1000” to Celebrate Marvel’s Birthday!

The music, curated to connect with every year in Marvel Comics #1000, will launch as a Pandora station and a limited-time SiriusXM channel on Thursday, August 29.

During Marvel’s 80th anniversary panel at D23 Expo 2019, Marvel, SiriusXM and Pandora announced plans to launch an all-new exclusive music station and limited-time channel: Marvel’s 80th: The Road to Marvel Comics #1000 to celebrate 80 years of Marvel.  The Pandora station and limited-time SiriusXM channel 4, and SiriusXM On Demand, start Thursday August 29.

Kickstarter/Indiegogo of the Week: Usagi Yojimbo RPG

As many of our readers know, before opening The Rat Hole I reviewed comics for Geekorama.net and still do from time to time. If you’ve ever read any of my Usagi Yojimbo reviews there, you might recall that I’m unabashedly a fan of Stan Sakai and his long-eared protagonist.

So you can imagine my excitement when a Kickstarter Campaign for Sanguine Games crossed my desk as I sorted through my post-GenCon campaign pile. I have a copy of the Gold Rush Games’ Usagi RPG but haven’t gotten ahold of the Sanguine game (yet). Now there’s a second edition and it’s Powered by the Apocalypse.

I won’t sugar coat this, PbtA is not a system I have particularly enjoyed in the past...
