Dungeons and Dragons: Evil at Baldur’s Gate #1A

Written by: Jim Zub

Artwork by: Dean Kotz

Cover by: Max Dunbar

Publisher: IDW Publishing

Synopsis: The former heroes of Baldur’s Gate have returned from their adventures in Ravenloft and the frozen northern reaches of the Realms. As each hero must face their own trials, the Ranger Minsc attempts to reclaim his place as a hero even though the people have a new hero.

The artwork is classic DnD with bold details and a busy (in a good way) background. There is nothing flat about any of it and I love that just as much as the storyline.

This digital version of Archie & Friends is a reminder that some things are timeless. Once again, I got to meet with some old friends from my childhood and I was happy to see that they hadn’t really changed. Archie still likes girls and games. Jughead still likes food. Reggie still likes … well, Reggie. This is a quick read that is silly and enjoyable to read...
