You’ll find out in a trio of issues written by Mark Evanier and illustrated by Steve Uy. We’d say it’s the cat’s meow but neither of these cats meows.

I’m sorry but it was hard to get into these books.  I am suffering a bit from fatigue of licensed properties moving into comics...

Over the Garden Wall 2017 Special #1

Wirt and Greg try to take a shortcut in the Unknown with some unexpected consequences.

Wait, isn’t that basically what happens all the time in these books? This is one of those titles that while I haven’t read a whole lot of, has been generally so so for me. Now, that’s not to say that there isn’t an audience out there for it, especially given that they’re still releasing content. Once again, I went into this wacky title hoping for something good in the Over the Garden Wall 2017 Special.

I’ve probably overused the term nonsensical when relating to this series by now, but I feel like it’s the best way to describe it. All three stories for this new special are based in the same world and the silly travels of the brothers Wirt and Greg...
