Gen Con 50: Incomprehensible Interview with Jouni Jussila of Playmore Games

Sometimes you meet someone or a group of someones and you wish you could play in their sandbox. That was the case with the gang at the Dized booth at Gen Con 50! They were all awesome and what didn’t get recorded was my talking with their Italian partner about recipes! I hope our paths cross again soon! Until then, check out what’s coming with Dized!

Calla Cthulhu TPB

Being a teenager isn’t easy, especially after you learn you carry the bloodline of Lovecraft’s Great Old Ones in your veins. Instead of a summer job and checking out colleges, Calla Tafali finds herself battling supernatural monsters, human assassins, and her uncle, the King in Yellow. Who’s the most sarcastic? Well, he likes lasagna and not much else…and she doesn’t even like lasagna. Can these two inhabit the same comic book mini-series, let alone the same planet? You’ll find out in a trio of issues written by Mark Evanier and illustrated by Steve Uy. We’d say it’s the cat’s meow but neither of these cats meows.

Most of the time, I’m interested to see what new antics that everyone’s favorite lasagna eating cat is up to next. While I wasn’t disinterested, I wasn’t really all that concerned with the other half of this new crossover...
